The mission of Beacon Film Society is to create a venue for showing great independent films in Beacon, to bring the filmmakers to Beacon to talk about their work, and most important, to create a community of independent film lovers.

We present great films – documentaries, narratives, experimental films, you name it.  We program screenings in the fall and in the spring.  We have informal and lively conversations afterward with the filmmakers and occasionally with local advocates and activists.  And there’s time before and after the films to hang out with other people who love movies.
